Management Information Systems is the study of the design, implementation, management and use of information technology applications in organizations to meet organizational and individual needs. Management Information Systems is an interdisciplinary field that integrates management science, computer science and behavioral sciences. It is aimed to train students in business, communication and information systems and to have a job and career in related fields.
Management Information Systems is a four-year undergraduate program. During the four-year period, students are offered a theoretical and practical course content in many different and interrelated areas such as organization, economics, marketing, finance and programming, algorithms, hardware, system software, database, data communication, system design and analysis, decision support systems, information systems management and enterprise information systems.
In order to graduate from the Department of Management Information Systems, a minimum of 240 ECTS courses must be successfully completed.
