The Management Information Systems (MIS) Department at Fırat University has established new collaborations with key industrial organizations in Elazığ. Within this scope, agreements have been reached with the Organized Industrial Zone R&D, Design, and Innovation Center (Responsible Manager: Aydın Demirdağ) and Özen Damper Industry (Owner: İsmet Özen) to carry out joint activities in various fields.

The R&D, Design, and Innovation Center, which launched its operations in 2019 and continues to work on Elazığ’s first domestically developed missile, will provide significant opportunities for MIS students, particularly in research and development, project design, and innovation-driven studies.

In addition, our department has also agreed with Özen Damper Industry, one of the region’s leading industrial companies, on external stakeholder engagement, internship opportunities, university-industry collaboration, and joint project development and idea exchange.

Through these agreements, our students will gain the chance to transfer their theoretical knowledge into practice while contributing to the industrial development of Elazığ. As the MIS Department, we aim to further strengthen our university-industry collaborations and continue to develop projects that add value to the region.
